BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That Ordinance No. 6958, as amended, known as the Zoning Ordinance, be and the same is hereby amended so as to rezone: Tracts of land located at 1925, 1931, and 1941 Rossville Avenue, being on the southwest line of Rossville Avenue southeast of Jefferson Street. Tract 1: Lot 3, Subdivision of the Catherine Cain Lot, as shown by plat of record in Chancery Court Record 0-1-138, part of fractional lot 4, block 10, Boyce's Amended Addition Number 2 to the City of Chattanooga, as shown by plat of record in plat book 5, page 10, R.O.H.C., and part of an unrecorded tract, being the properties described in deed book 2894, page 170, R.O.H.C., and as Tract One in deed book 3018, page 685, R.O.H.C. Said lot and parts of lots form one tract beginning on the southwest line of Rossville Avenue some 28 feet southeast of the intersection of the southwest line of Rossville Avenue with the southeast line of Jefferson Street (if extended), thence southwest 115.26 feet to the northeast line of an alley, thence northwest 89.15 feet with said alley, thence northeast 126.19 feet to the southwest line of Rossville Avenue, thence southeast 137.1 feet with Rossville Avenue to the point of beginning. Tract 2: Lot 1 and the southeast 20 feet of lot 2, block 10, Boyce's Amended Addition Number 2 to the City of Chattanooga, as shown by plat of record in plat book 5, page 10, R.O.H.C., being the property described as Tract Two in deed book 3018, page 685, R.O.H.C. Tax Map No. 145M-N-9. from R-3 Residential Zone and M-2 Light Industrial Zone to M-1 Manufacturing Zone. SECTION 2. BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this rezoning shall be subject to the following conditions: 1. The erection of a six foot sight-obscuring wooden fence along all abutting residential zones. 2. Property is subject to uses which do not produce any odors, fumes, smoke, noise, etc. which are detectable off premise. 3. All existing easements are retained. SECTION 3. BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this Ordinance shall take effect two weeks from and after its passage, the public welfare requiring it.
